Sometimes, you don’t recognize your life.

You look around and wonder how you got to this point – feeling stuck and worried that it’s too late to change or find happiness.

Your relationships are becoming strained, and you feel more isolated from the world and people around you each day.

Anxious thoughts keep you awake at night, and you don’t feel like yourself. Frequently, you wonder if you’ll ever find a way out of this.

There is a path forward.

I’m here to help guide you back to your inner strength and find your way together as a couple or an individual.

I’ll help you build the emotional skills you need to communicate and release old conditioning that’s holding you back from the relationship you desire.

Through our work together, you’ll learn to release codependent thinking and behaviors and acquire the skills to start living with conscious intention.

My approach and background.

Under Annabelle’s supervision as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I use a client-centered, collaborative approach drawing from Psychodynamic, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Attachment theory.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and my Masters in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, Santa Barbara.

Finally, I received clinical training from the prestigious Maple Counseling Center in Beverly Hills, CA, where I worked with adults, couples, and adolescents.

About me.

I grew up in the Midwest and was fortunate to travel to Turkey with my family as a child.

I am a mother of two young children. While going through the challenges of parenting, I am constantly evolving and improving my own life skills.

No one is given a handbook on how to be a parent or an effective and mindful communicator, but it’s possible to learn.

I was an Anthropology major in college, which captured my interest in human development, culture, and change. It also taught me the importance of looking beneath the surface, which is an important part of working with people in therapy.

Understanding how our past experiences and negative patterns impact current relationship dynamics can improve communication and increase our understanding and respect.

I love working with individuals and couples who are eager to take a deep dive and work on themselves so they can overcome struggles and have clarity about what matters most.

When I’m not working, I spend time playing tag with my kids, visiting with friends, and fostering kittens.
